I had a great time doing photos for the MOPS ladies and their families. Thank you so much for letting me take part in this and get a chance to know you all. It was a wonderful day filled with great families.

Everyone's kids were as cute as can be and so well behaved!

Sydney turns 1!

Sydney is another one of my milestone babies. She's come to me for photos throughout her first year and I am excited to say she is now the big 1!

This time her cousin joined us at her shoot. It was fun to explore around Schloss Solitude with them.

The X Project

Big boy X turned 1 this spring. I took some 1 year photos of him walking around like a big boy. It was a treat to have him as my client since he was a referral from a good friend and fellow photographer Nelly Hernandez. She has moved on to North Dakota to continue her business there. She had been photographing X since he was born so it was fun to finish up this project with her.

Little Lyla

What a happy little girl Lyla is! I was excited to see her again now that she's 6 months old! The last time I saw this little one she was sound asleep for most of her newborn shoot. She is growing up fast and I'm glad I am able to document this time in her life for her family.

It's hard to be a big sister at this age, those babies start getting feisty around 6 months!

I'm looking forward to seeing Lyla again in September for her 1 year shoot!

Aubrey and her Minnie Mouse

Aubrey is 2! She is just too adorable with her Minnie Mouse shirt and accessories! We had so much fun playing around and that Minnie lolly pop was the perfect way to end our shoot!

My son, of course, had to jump in for some pictures with the birthday girl!

Valentine's Day Minis

Happy Valentine's Day! I tried something new this year- Valentine's Day mini-sessions! It was fun for the kids and the parents! I am going to be offering quite a few mini-session options when we are back in the states and settled down (January of 2012 is when I am hoping to have a house in Colorado and start jumping into things head first). Until then, we are experimenting. I am very happy with how these turned out, this will be a fun tradition to continue!

Twins on the Way! These two are expecting a baby boy and baby girl in just a few weeks, I'm so excited to see them when they get here!

Syd's Family! Such a cute little family of three!

Some mini sessions, for Halloween!

The P family was so much fun. Cody loved running around with their little boy and this little girl was so outgoing and adorable!

A few newborns, it seems to be baby season and I'm loving it!

And finally, the boys. This family made me work for my pictures but it was worth it, such sweet boys.

I do have a good reason for being so behind in my posts... and that reason is coming in my next posting! Stay tuned...

My very first cake smash! I'd say it was a hit, at least Miss L had fun! Really, you can't go wrong when not only is the birthday girl covered in icing but so is her Mommy and the photographer! We all had a great time.

I'm lucky enough to get to see the spunky Miss L and her family again at the end of this month, it should be a little less messy but just as much fun!

I'm always so excited to photograph the E girls. They are so much fun and oh so adorable! I just love it! It also helps that Cody loves them just as much as I do, it's like a giant play date with pictures included and I love it.

This beautiful Mama was such a trooper- she was willing to brave crossing the busy highway to get to our location and once there she walked through tall grass and prickly weeds to get the pictures she wanted. I think it was worth it though!

I have been neglecting my blog, big time. I got a facebook page for my photography and the blog went by the way side. But no more! I will catch you all up now and my goal is to keep this blog up to date from now on.

Sarah and her family were our duplex neighbors back at Fort Bragg, and now, thanks to the Army, we are all in Europe together. Unfortunately we don't live right next door anymore, in fact they're in another country but it's better than being an ocean away! We met up in Germany and did some maternity photos. Their baby girl is due next month so we barely made the deadline! We hope to see you all again soon and can't wait to meet your newest little one!!!

Baby J is my first newborn and so he will always hold a special place in my heart. He is so cute and little, a perfect first! Daddy was deploying soon after Baby J's birth so it was very important to capture the time they had together. I hope the time flies for you all and that you are together again before you know it!

We went out with some friends last weekend and had some good photo opportunities. I was excited to get some photos of a tiny baby again! In no time at all she'll be turning one! Hopefully I'll be able to do some birthday photos for her so we can all watch her grow.

These next kiddos are so sweet. The little boy has a huge smile and he was just cracking up the entire time! His sister was all over the place, having a great time, especially in the ball pit!

The H Family had their shoot this past weekend after having to reschedule due to rain. The weather finally cooperated and we were able to go down town to take some photos. We had an informal photo shoot today with some friends of ours. It was very nice and relaxed and the kids really had a good time.

Fall is definitely here and the reds, oranges, and browns of the leaves make for a beautiful backdrop. Here are some photos that capture the changing of the seasons.
